Academic Skills & Learning Centre

Academic Skills and Learning Centre (ASLC) offers ANU students of all levels free and confidential help with their academic work through individual tutorials, workshops, courses and handouts. Our aim is to assist students to develop their academic, critical thinking and communication strategies.



One on one tutorial appointments continue throughout the year and are managed online including booking appointments, submitting drafts and making cancellations.

Our academic skills drop-in service at Chifley library runs right throughout semester and will recommence on Monday July 18th.

The ASLC Turnitin Practice Wattle site allows ANU students to learn about and practice using Turnitin without having work stored on the repository.

Appointments with Learning Advisers

You can make an appointment to see a Learning Adviser using the links above. Whilst we get very busy as the semester progresses, there are still spots available. Always check back on the day for last minute cancellations.
