Academic Skills & Learning Centre

Academic Skills and Learning Centre (ASLC) offers ANU students of all levels free and confidential help with their academic work through individual tutorials, workshops, courses and handouts. Our aim is to assist students to develop their academic, critical thinking and communication strategies.

Orientation week workshops

Are you new to ANU? Did you miss out on O-week workshops at the start of the year? Or are you just looking to refresh your academic skills? Our academic skills workshops are back by popular demand! Check out the range of workshops on offer below. To avoid disappointment, register. They open two weeks before O-week. If you miss out on registering you can try turning up at the door - but we cannot guarantee a place.

One on one tutorial appointments can now be managed online including booking appointments, submitting drafts and making cancellations.

Our location

We are located on level 2 of  the John Yencken building (bldg 45) close to the Hancock Library.
