Academic Skills & Learning Centre

Academic Skills and Learning Centre (ASLC) offers ANU students of all levels free and confidential help with their academic work through individual tutorials, workshops, courses and handouts. Our aim is to assist students to develop their academic, critical thinking and communication strategies.



One on one tutorial appointments continue throughout the year and are managed online including booking appointments, submitting drafts and making cancellations.

Our academic skills drop-in service at Chifley library runs right throughout semester and will recommence on Monday July 18th.

The ASLC Turnitin Practice Wattle site allows ANU students to learn about and practice using Turnitin without having work stored on the repository.

Brand new Turnitin practice Wattle site 

We are launching our brand new, updated Turnitin practice site this week. Register on the link above. The site lets you practice using Turnitin and uploads your drafts to check for academic integrity. Use Turnitin to help you get it right.

We are located on level 2 of the John Yencken building (bldg 45) close to the Hancock Library.
